hey guys, i have my bseries vtec swap in my 97 civic..

I rewired everything like your supposed too like iat, iacv, etc..ive done many swaps before.

I have a obd2>obd1 jumper harness in the car, p28 chipped ecu..

Im throwing codes 3 and 41.. Map sensor and primary o2 sensor..

The car will barely stay running even if it does stay running and idles all messed up and bogs and stutters. Ive changed map sensors twice with 2 good ones and its still doing it.

Any ideas of what the problem could be?

if youv many swaps before...give us more info
what obd is the motor?
do you have the correct obd dizzy?
why did you rewire the iat?
is the map sensor getting any signal?
do you have the tps and map switched?

yes correct dizzy .. using obd1 with obd2>obd1 dizzy jumper harness
rewired iat cuz it has the sensor on the intake mani runner

how do I check if the map is gettin signal? a volt meter?
tried tps and map switching back and forth still have problem

 

use a volt meter. pull the pins out of the sensor 1 at a time and check them.
1 should get signal
1 should get powa
1 should get ground.
trace the wires also. map sensor will make the car act real syco
