Default stock b16 block vs ls block with srp 11.1 pistons.

Well the time has come for me to have my block sent off to get sleeved. Im looking to grab up another block for the mean time but want something with some pep to it.

I have 3 option,2 because they are all relatively close in price range,of course the stock b16a block is the cheapest though.

Option a: B16a block with 62,000 on it-250
Option b: B18a block with Srp 11.1 compression pistons-300
Option c: B16a2 block with CTR pistons-500

Im aware of what a majority of ya'll will say 1.8>1.6 but keep in mind this is temporary and I know with the ls I will have to get the conversion kit for my head.

I will be running a Gsr head with complete supertech valve train and ill be putting the gsr cams back in. It will also be shaved 20,000

If its temporary, go with the cheapest option.

Jesus. Isn't it like in 5th grade where you learn the difference between thousands and thousandths?

if you picked the b16 with the ctr slugs you might stamp "PCT" into your combustion chambers.

my vote is for the cheapest

yeah I read up about that,if I were to do that I would not shave the head and I will run a headgasket thicker than .056mm

I may end up just throwing an entire different motor together since I have my old B18c5 motor in the garage. I might just throw CTR's in the GSR bottom, and throw the Type R head on it since the Type R spun a rod Ill have to polish it.
