Default K pro help

Hello, i am new to this site. Just recently purchase a 02 ep3. I was just wondering if i purchase k-pro for my stock ep3 and want to do an A2 swap, will the k pro work with my swap, such as the six speed and ect. Or do i have to repurchase k-pro again?

THANK YOU

What the difference between the k- pro and the reflash...Sorry dont know much about the k pro

yes it will.

K-pro is a full on ECU program capable of dataloging and changing everything possible about the engine settings and fuel maps, cam angles, timing and etc.

A reflash is just reburning your stock fuel map to a basic tune Hondata has found to be capable with whichever reflash you go with.

I don't believe in wasting the money on reflash. I'd just save up for k-pro

Definitely go with k-pro because chances are you will change mods over time or go back stock and getting reflashed all the time would be a pain and expensive in the end. I have K-pro and it's super easy to use and well worth it.

I disagree, ReFlash is upgradable to Kpro so when you decide to swap you get the reflash cost discounted off the price of kpro. In the end if you don't end up needing kpro you saved a few hundred dollars. Reflash seems to be a worthy mod I plan to look into and if I ever need anything more I already spent half of the total price.

AFAIK there is only one reflash available for the EP3 with mild bolt ons so there is no re-burning.

This is correct. Many people who venture an opinion on this subject generally have no actual expierence with it. A reflash is a great mod to have done. Kpro is actually worth less until you have the vehicle tuned with it, other wise its like having your stock ECU. So you either have to know how to tune with Kpro or you gotta pay someone to do it.
