Default Polk Audio 10" sub question

Trying to get a decent sound in my 2000 Civic ex without blowing the budget in one whack. Heres what I have:

JVC KD-R600 head
Polk DB651 in the doors
Polk DB691 in the deck
JL Audio E4300 4 channel amp

I have a Kenwood kac729s amp sitting around so I bought a Polk DB1040dvc subwoofer for a little added kick. The instructions say the sealed enclosure should be .66 cubic feet but they don't give any info for a ported enlosure. My old tired Kenwood isn't the strongest amp so I thought I'd put it in a ported box to get the extra volume but I don't know where to start. Thoughts?
