Default OBD0 B16 Distributor, converted to grey plug OBD1?

I searched but didn't get a good answer. Can I just re-pin my OBD0 distributor and put on the Grey Plugs instead? Looks like there would be No reason why I can't but figured I'd ask in case someone knows something I don't.
TIA.

No there is a reluctor wheel inside that has teeth on it. 0bd0 has a different number compared to obd1/2. Obd2 dizzy's can be repinned to work w/obd1 and vise versa. obd0 is different.
