random misfire cylinder 4
so i have a 1998 honda civiC MT
it threw a CEL and i checked it looked up the code and corresponded with a random misfire cylinder 4 any suggestion on how to go about fixing this? what should i check replace? thanks

It could be the #4 spark plug is bad. Cylinder #4 is the right most spark plug hole on the valve cover. It could be the #4 spark plug wire. Replace both of them and I'm sure it will fix the problem.

Yes there is, pull the wire completly of the motor and just look at it to see if there is any white spots or tears, on the boot or wire itself. If there are, the spark might be arcing through the boot or wire to something else. If so, just replace it. It is also best to replace all 4 at the same time though.

k cool will chek em out and most likely replace them... kinda of topic but will the cel reset on its own or do i have to reset the ecu
