hey posting this for a friend, 90 integra/b20b motor when the motor is cool it starts up but when it gets hot and he shuts it off we have to wait like 3-5 minutes just to start it uhhh i dont know how to read the codes i think i read them right but ill tell you guys, 6 fast blinks then 1 long blink then 7 fast blinks, i believe thats code 6 ect and code 17 vss. help with the starting problem

My integra did something similar at one point. My plug wires were bad.

 

i had an integra that had the same problem except no cel light, fixed it with a main fuel relay.

 

yeah im thinking the main fuel relay also, i searched on yahoo answers and its saying "its a fuel problem" so with that said and done, did i read those codes right on the ecu?

 

You are reading the codes right - 6 and 17

 

Research Main Relay. Very common Integra problem. To help diagnose the problem when it doesn't start have someone listen in the back hatch area for fuel pump operation. The pump will run for 2 seconds everytime the key is turned to start...if the main relay is working.
