Default 93 eg with 91 ebrake lines.....

Ok guys , I'm in germany and parts are a little hard to find . I have a 93 eg dx with drum brakes and I'm looking to do a wilwood 11" front setup , but I went down to my local junk yard and found a 91 civic hatch ex with rear discs thats gonna be scrapped for metal .

So I'm thinking that the 91 rear conversion will work on my eg but my question is , will the ebrake lines work from the 91 ex to my 93 ? Thanks for the help............

Is it ur intent to swap the trailing arms alont with all the rear brake components? I would research if such a swap is possible between EG and EF chassis. If it does, the main problem you SHOULD have would be cable length, if I'm not mistaken. I would start there. HECH if ur getting them for free anyway, grab the parts, try it out... and in the process do a right up explain step-by-step processes and post it. Because I have yet to hear of this concept being used as a rear brake conversion between these two chassis except for EG going ONTO an EF... but if that works u would think the reverse to be possible.

You may get ahold of the guys at www.fastbrakes.com
I know they have a TON of insight into brake components and swapping between different model chassis.

Honestly I've never tried this so I'm hoping someone will have some answers . First off I wanna make sure the rear conversion from the ef to the eg will work ? I have a feeling the ebrake cable may be too short ? Maybe the eg/si brake cable will work ? There's gotta be someone out there that has tried this .

Thanks for the help , I may be going to the junk yard tomarrow so just trying to get a diffinite answer...........The guy told me $30 for the parts and of course I pull the parts so thats not bad ........

man I wish I would have brought more parts with me to germany but ooh well , I gotta work with what I got .
