AEM intake bypass valve

Icon2 AEM intake bypass valve

I'm considering geting one do they really prevent waterlock?

i had one when i was running my cold air intake.
never had a problem considering here in WA is always raining

Yeah they prevent waterlock, but i consider them obstructing air flow. When your filter is under water, it breathes from the bypass valve.

I would rather my airflow be obstructed slightly than waterlock my engine, I guess I'll be picking one of these up
