vtak is pretty cool brah

but you will need to state ref that b16 easiest way to do it is under a del sol motor but you might have to look around for a del sol ecu if u want to do it the right way

and is you 3 door civic a std dx if it is a standard you have 4 speed trans a 5 speed would be better(b16)

any motor other than a d16a6 si will need to be bar'ed. also only same year and older can be install in your car. no more JDM bar, only usdm bar. best for b16 is delsol as said above or b16a2 obd2 from 99-00 civic si. you could swap in a jdm afterward. no other method period!

your cheapest bet for vtec is to get a usdm d16z6 which is still legal.

ill repeat again. you cannot bar a mix and match motor in the state of ca. if you want simple and cheap legal vtec, get yourself a complete d16z6 motor

got it oh well ill just buy another car and fix this one and sell it. ca sucks its expensive to live here and laws and enforcers are just getting worst. thanks for the site info it helps and getting things bar'd here i hear is pricy the guy that sold me this car said he had to get this thing smogged and ref'd in 08. so ill just stick to this until i save enough for another car.
