B-Series Auto questions
im new to the whole honda world. i come over from mitsu lol.
i have a 93 coupe EX automatic.
i have a JDM B16 block and was wanting to keep the car an auto and boost it. so in a nut shell i wanna do a B16 turbo automatic.
i already know what im gonna do with the motor. im just alil lost when it comes to what trans to use, what wiring harness, ecu, ect.
is there anyone who would like to put there 2cents in? any help or push in the right direction would be alsome. thanks

personaly i wouldnt, but what your going to want to do is look into integra mounts and harnesses.
your limited to the tranny because to my knowledge there really only is one kind you can use, and thats a integra...
find me a auto honda drag car lol... not to be a dick, but all of the drag cars are most likely runign some sort of clutchless manual, or lenco automatic, even then there trannys are fully built, shift kit and all, and there just isnt all that much stuff out there for a auto honda.

Auto is not necessarily bad for F Body GMs and fox Mustangs... there are lots of people running 600HP+ and sub 12s on domestic autos (or even sub 10s). In high HP domestic drag applications, it's very arguable that an automatic is a much better choice than a manual.
That said, Honda has never made an automatic that can handle more than stock horsepower without grenading. Never. And, because of that, there's no aftermarket parts for Honda automatics either. If you manage to get an auto B16 working, you can expect it to handle about 160HP.
On the other hand, the drag forum is full of people running mostly stock B series manuals over 500HP with little to no problems.

but i think someone makes a shift kit for them... and acutly my dads freind runs 10s on his cammro auto trany
