Im bout to do my rear disc swap, and my front ones are hidieous blue(previous owner).

Good time to upgrade....i know the GSRs have better calipers than Civic fronts....but do they swap on with everything else still from Civic?

And when i buy new brake lines...does i just buy it for a GSR since ill have front and rear calipers from it?

And should i swap the MC and booster while im at it?

swap the whole thing. get the gsr front brakes with spindles and look for jdm civic rear disk brakes (like eg9 or eg6) so you could swap straight including the trailer arm. make sure you get those with intact hand brake brakelines for the rear as they're a little expensive brand new if you're upgrading from rear drums.

 

Certain year Civics use the same size caliper, rotor and pads in the front as the Integras, RS, LS, GSR, whatever. Look at the part catalogs, you'll see. I see more Civics in junkyards than Integras, so this would likely be easier to get.

Any 90-01 Integra or 88-00 Civic rear disk setup will work also. It's all plug and play, aside from the DA bushings being larger than the others, but who cares?

Yeh..i already have the rear disc setup from a 2001 GSR....i was just looking to get diff calipers since mine now or blue.

I dont wanna strip them, and while i was gonna buy diff ones...i thought id buy something a lil better but still fits.

So i need too know what front calipers fit, if any, that are a upgrade.

If none than ill just get some EX ones

 

ex is just like the si, the gsr's will be a lil better. barely even noticeable. i got em...
