I have also seen way worse that still work fine..... BUT!

I just swapped my D16Z6, and the oil pan looked very similar... IT WAS BLOCKING THE OIL PICKUP. Just get a hammer and beat the pan from the inside and make some clearance just in case. I beat my pan out with the wooden handle end so as not to cause irreversible damage to the pan. The process is just as straight forward and barbaric as it sounds. Good Luck.

Looking closer, your oil pan looks almost EXACTLY like my oil pan did. Be aware of your oil light on first startup...

It will work just knock it back out, paint it, then slap it on the motor.

but theres a baffle.... and i dont think the baffle comes out..... that would make knocking out the dents kinda tough....

btw neva , I am almost done , I think I might paint the car before putting the motor back in , Im kinda worried because my fenders dont sit str8 right now , and It doesnt seem like the car has been wrecked but I gotta investigate tomorrow if my frame is ****ed up or not , but I got my buddie to do me a favor and he says for 700 bucks he will spray my car , just gotta decide on color WRB from wrx , kelly green from the XB or champ white I cannot decide at all I love all three colors.

The baffle does not come out just pop it out the best you can especially where the pick-up tube sits. You don't have to get it perfect by any means but you want to make sure there is clearance on the bottom, as you stated before, so no oil starvation occurs.

If you need measurements let me know I have a good CRX shell sitting in my driveway... LOL...

Also I would personally go with the white... CRX's in nice crisp white look good IMHO... I am a little biased though because I do not care for green cars in general. Every CRX I have seen green just looks funny to me.

yeah and ALOT of people paint cars the Si blue and I would look like all of them , white is one of my favorite car colors. especially since I am going to be white and bronze/gold.

I want to paint it white with a gold engine bay.

also the baffle is perfectly straight so the pickup wont be disturbed , I have no idea how I would pop it out alll that there is is a little hole in the baffle....I cant imagine what I would pop in there that would pop out the dents.
