Post 97 b18b1 oil problems

i just started burning a ton of oil. not constant smoke...but i lingering cloud after every take off. with the b18's, is your problem usually head gasket and/or rings, or are there other potential smaller things that might cause oil seepage. any thoughts could help. thanks

well also what type of oil u used... like 5w 30 and also what temp has it been hotter nowadays.. or what model u just put on your car those things can also cause for your oil to burn alot faster so u might need to go up on temp on oil... so when this start happening??? cuz that can help all the honda tech people help u.. like if happen like a day atfer a race... or like when u add a new model like a turbo..

i use mobil1 5w30 and lucas oil stabilzer. i have recently in the past 4-5 months have upgraded to new headers, intake manifold and throttle body. i was having idle issues with the throttle body, so i replaced it with the factory one until i can get a little more time to figure it out exactly. but i recently had my valves adjusted which has shown me the car feels less hesitant and overal better, except now - i get my blue clouds of smoke. im not seeing any immediate leaks, i havent noticed any blue smoke after initial start up in the morning so im questionable if its my rings, but it started i guess a week ago out of no where. my temp has been consistent and cool, but my radiotor is leaking and bad. it needs to be replaced. could this be a factor? my temp does not flucuate at all.

hmmm...how many mileage is on your car?I don't think it's your radiator.Typically, a lot of people get idling issues right after swapping to aftermarket intake manifold/throttle body such as skunk2 or obx but then again I could be wrong. The question here is did you do your valve adjustment correctly? If so, any timing/distributor/fuel pump issues? If not then it might just be a bad gasket. Not sure if it's your piston rings.I need more info on your motor and your setup.

106k on the motor, just a baby. thats why i didnt think it would be rings but was not so sure. my distributor is way out of wack right now. my injectors rattle and tap alot at low rpm. i keep adjusting it little by little trying to get it right, and sometimes it gets a little better, sometimes it gets worse. and yes, skunk2 intake manifold, blox 70mm throttlebody. i removed the throttlebody and put the factory one on, i read the 70 is a little too big for a na setup. i havent taken my intake off just yet to see if its coated in oil. and as far as the valve adjustment goes, i didnt do the work. i had a trusted mechanic do it, but i trust his work, doesnt mean he did it right though. my distributor is giving me alot of issues right now though.

I would take a look inside your intake manifold and focus primarily on the injectors since it's ticking.Might just need some cleaning. That can be the cause but just in case, check your timing with a timing gun also. What kind of fuel are you using on your car?Yes, 70mm throttle body is too big for a n/a setup consider your compression hasn't change. Are you running the stock piping or straight pipe with no catalytic?A variety of factor can contribute to oil problems.

well your right your car still is a baby for beening an integra that not much mile so your rings wouldnt be damage. unless u was like super boosting but as i can see your N/A so they should be fine. but first let start with your idle issue. since u change your intake manifold alot did u get a new gasket when u replace or used the old one.. and have u check for air leak from your intake manifold to the head. cuz that could cause rough idle if air getting out and also check from the TB to the IM and see if no air is getting suck in from the side.
and dont forget about your injecter and see if they didnt get chip or anything while u was change your IM
