Default steering spindle/knuckles

i want to drop my car about 2 inches but i know when you drop a car say the angles for your tie rods ends become excessive, basically the tie rods point up. i want to know where i can look to get a set of aftermarket spindles/knuckles. ive seen rack and pinions go bad quick on dropped cars and not so much on stock height vehicles.

you are correct. as far as a 2inch drop...that is moderate. you should be fine with that but if you want something "aftermarket" to help..look at roll center adjusters. those should help you a tad. search for them on the site and there will be threads covering the topic. as far as knuckles i dont think you are going to find anything "aftermarket" not meaning autozone etc stuff.

Roll center adjusters have nothing to do with the angle of the tierods. Lowering your honda 2" won't have any affect on the durability of the rack. It does affect the geometry, but not enough to make it worth changing the location of either the rack or the outer tierods attachment.

how would rollcenter adjusters not help with the angle of the tie rods?? the roll center adjuster raises the hub area up away from the lca which would inturn bring the tie rod angle back towards the "oem" location/angle.

It just doesn't do what you're saying. sorry.

Think about what determines where the roll center is and how the adjusters acomplish the change they are designed for. It'll be obvious then.

i guess i dont see your point...i dont see how raising a mechanical linkage back to a "stock" angle doesnt help what he describes/wants.
