i think turbo is the way to go for you..ls-vtec i was always told does not last as long. turbo is probably cheaper and you will more than likely be faster.

Please do not misinform the OP if you cannot 100% prove your statements...

LSvtec swaps can be just as reliable as any other motor build. In that case, if you want to get into realibility, i think you mean that turbo would more likely cause more problems down the road than a simple lsvtec swap.

If done the right way, and not cutting corners, the lsvtec swap will be very reliable, with decent power and torque for street use.

Turbo will not be cheaper, but is the best bang for the buck when it comes to adding power. It will be faster, but it all depends on what the OP really wants to do...If you are looking to stay NA, then a "professionally" built LSvtec would benefit you. If, on the other hand, you choose to boost, on the stock motor with stock internals, make sure you dont overdo it. LS motors have low compression, and are great for turbo, but everything has its limits. The internals will go out sooner or later, causing you to haul out the motor, get it rebuilt, and put back in.

Whatever route you take, do it THE RIGHT WAY, so you only DO IT ONCE.

Save your money and when times are better then spend it on what you want. If you spend your money on non-necessities and then shtf you'lll be sorry.
