need help please
i am new to this. i have a 91 civic hatch wit a 1.5 the car runs fine for the most part but if i use it the whole day it wont want to start up at night. ive change the main relay, ignition switch, put new sparkplugs and wires , new distributor cap and rotor. what could it b. please help
ok... first things first... do you have gauge lights? If no check the battery. If you do great. second... when you try to start it do you hear a clicking sound coming from the engine bay? in short... check the starter... if you can bang it a couple times with a hammer and it starts... replace it!!! and check the voltage on your battery anyway it can cause an issue if you don't do regular maintenance to the wet types.
On to your problem. Does it crank at night? what else does it do? More info is needed.
once it stops workin the starter will spin but not start. the starter is brand new and ive checked it and is still good. plugs r brand new also. where r all the ground wires located? its probably a stupid question but im new to this.
[QUOTE=apekd B series OBD0 igniter's are known for shorting out. Not D-series. I went through 4 on my ZC but it was a remanded dizzy.
TO the op. Check your igniter and coil. My car would always leave me in the Blockbuster parking lot. LOL. They go bad when they get hot.

Read my stuff? Thats odd, cuz we replace d & b series igniters at the shop alot, we don't just "read" about replacing them.
