i have white smoke coming out in first and second also at stops it feels like my car is going to die. and lastly the rpms in first and second seem to stop at about 2 and then they shoot up to 31/2 i have a 92 civic dx 4 door im going to get new piston rings value seals and guides what else should i buy to make it run right i have just recently have gotten into cars so anything will help

But it sounds like a piston ring seal problem or maybe a problem with the fuel injectors.

 

white smoke is normally coolent, check your coolent to see if its mixing.

if it was piston rings it would be blue.
have the block honed its required for new rings to seal right. bearings, head gasket,oil pan gasket, main seal.

are you throwing any cels?

 

not trying to jack at all but it is related.... my engine d15b7 was smoking white as well i changed the head with a clean one i got a junkayrd and new oem headgasket and still smokes like hell i'm so very confused... the original head had a chipped valve

 

think i said im new cels? should i throw them in i have about 300 to spend how would i fix the coolent from mixing?

 

check engine lights do you have any?

do you even know if collent is mixing?

youll need the block honed first.

 

no check engine light and i dont know how to check this is my first car and im just starting to learn the basics sorry but i also burns alot of oil im pretty much asking what new parts i should buy to start trying to fix this

 

if it burns oil your rings are shot. replace them.

i have never seen a car with bad rings or burned alot of oil smoke anything besides blue.

 

alright so im going to replace the piston ring the vavle guides and seals should that do the job or did i miss anything

no i havent i have a friend coming in from uti this weekend so he can help but pics or anything will help is that all i need to replace
