help on d series???

Icon3 help on d series???

alright so my boy has a 93 coupe. when he bought it it had ractive headers and intake. the guy said it was a b20 but i know for certain it isnt!!! i think he got scammed, because im almost for certain anybody into civcs and projects would agree its a d16 single cam.. but it has a hasport mount of some sort. could it be a swapped d16 ??? what should i tell him ? please and thankss

Just look at the block. Next to where the trans bolts onto, the engine code will be.

what does a sunroof have to do with what motor is in the car?

OP: to the left of the header flange on the block will be the engine code.

its a dx, but that doesnt mea nanything it could be swapped and i am going to check the block !!

ha ha there is nothing worse then getting scammed cause your not sure how to tell the motors apart. gotta watch people cause they will tell you ANYTHING to pass there problems on to someone else

yea Just look on the block and you should be able to tell. But how can you not tell the difference between a D serie and a B serie?

i can he cant.
but he wont believe me until i can prove it too him somehow.
but the plot thickens- the engine code was grinded off
is there anything that can be legally done? like a lawsuit? i dont really hit the law books too often so idk

just cause the code is gone doesnt mean ****, there are other ways to tell if its hot. besides u can still tell what motor it is...
