Hey guys.. the wires coming out of the underhood fuse box is fried in my hatch and I need to know how to remove the battery tray, it appears the wires go below the tray but I couldnt figure out how to remove it to get to those wires, also if anyone knows exactly where those wires go so i can access them easily please let me know. If you have any wiring diagrams with color codes that would be helpful too. Thank you!

 

The battery tray is bolted down. It's pretty straight forward.

 

How many bolts? I could not see any i thought it was welded in :p

Is there a how to somewhere?

 

they should be under the batter..or the bottom of the plate

 

after you take the battery out there should be a plastic tray sitting there take that out then there should be three bolts holding the metal tray down

 

Shh, don't tell him that. It's welded in, you have to cut the old tray out with a hacksaw or something. The welds just "look" like bolt heads. haha.

 

yeahh suuurreee! lol i think its because of all the dirt down there it has covered everything. I took the battery already out and there was no plastic tray just an old metal tray that has rusted and has so much dirt over it...i guess I am going to clean it up first to see if I can spot the bolts thank u!
