oh wow alright then, i actually found some results...looks to be similar to an ls-vtec but with LESS torque than a b18b1 head

no, not like a ls-v. why, cause you don't have to do the things you would have to do to make a ls-v work. it's a simple straight drop in. only thing different is that your comp, will be higher then it is.

why the b16 block and gsr head..why dont you do it the other way around..

b16 heads flow better and gsr (1.8ltr) have more tq.



but....yeeeeah...you can do it.

thats exactly what i was thinking poor mans type R, but I assume the OP probably already has the gsr head and B16 block so whatever.

No, no they don't. They are within a few cfm of each other.

GSR block would be a better starting point though. More displacement=more better.

because i already have the gsr head, all it needs is a dizzy.

wayne, $100 and its yours....valve train in tact, ctr exaust cam and gsr intake cam, intake mani with tb is included...like i said all the head needs is a dizzy and valve cover.

remember i mentioned this before that the cam collars are a little scored due to the overheating a while back, they just need to be smoothed out either with a drimmel and sanding wheel, or take it to a machine shop.
