Default d15z1 problems (please help)

I HAVE A 91 HATCH WITH A D15Z1 A FRIEND TALK ME IN INTO DOING A MPFI SWAP I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT CARS SO I SAID YEAH WHY NOT SO NOW MY CAR WONT GO OVER 3,000 RPM AND I HAVE TO KEEP MY FOOT ON THE GAS AT ALL TIMES OR ELSE THE CAR TURNS OFF HELP ME PLEASE THANKS

MY FRIEND SAID IT ONLY NEEDS A DISTRIBUTOR FROM A D15B OR A D16 BUT I DONT TRUST HIM ANYMORE

HE ALSO SAID HE CHANGED THE ECU FROM A 91 SI INTO MY CAR WHEN HE DID THE SWAP

d15z1 is from a civic vx lmfao. get the right ecu dang it. that engine isnt for power at all... its for fuel economy

so he f**k up the engine pretty much? if i change the original ecu should it run good again with the pmfi or do i have to change the stock intake manifold again too? thanks you been real helpful. I live in tijuana mexico we dont know to much about performance over here so any good info is gold
hey is it true i can also just swap the head for a d15b and keep the same block what else would i need to do it correctly

i would just get a new engine, u wont be getting anything good from that engine like power. lmk if u wanna sell it btw since im looking for that engine and the correct tranny

I WOULD FOR SURE BUT ITS PROBABLY MORE EXPENSIVE TO SHIP IT THAN THE ENGINE ITSELF BUT IM GONNA PUT IT UP FOR SALE FOR SURE HOW FAR ARE YOU BECAUSE I COULD DRIVE UP TO LOS ANGELES CA NO PROBLEM
