What's blowing in the dizzy? Are you replacing the entire dizzy or specific components? Have you replaced the plug wires and plugs?

So you don't really aren't sure what's blowing in the distributor?

I would guess that the coil is blowing. This typically happens if the high voltage spark generated by the coil can't find a ground. This generally results from bad plug wires or plugs. I'd say replace them.
