Specific Wire Removal/Install for Alternator?
I'm wondering if there is a specific way that you have to remove the alternator with regard to the 2 wires.
For some reason I think I heard if you didn't remove or install the 2 wires in a specific sequence, something would happen to the alternator that would render it useless.
Is this true? If so, what is it? The factory manual says to remove the plug first then the B terminal (the wire running to the battery) but doesn't say the reverse order.
Thanks for your time!

It doesn't which you remove first or put on first. Just make sure to remove the negative battery terminal and you'll be fine.
I pull the plug and then take off the single wire, but that's me.
