Post '95 Civic - How do you replace a crankshaft in an old engine?

I got a '05 Civic EX 140K miles. Harmonic Balance pulley mount bolt broke and chewed up the keyway on the crank. Can I just put in a junkyard crankshaft and torque it down or do I need to send out crank for cutting or something first? Just how do you replace a crankshaft on an old car with a junkyard part?

Thanks.
