Default delsol speedo question

hello, i have a 1.5ltr vtec honda delsol and the speedo is not working properly, while the rpm works fine.i have changed the vss sensor but the problem remained.
my second option is to change the instrument panel.,now the problem is this: i have found 1 which came off a 1.6ltr vtec honda delsol, and as mine is 1.5ltr would it work with my car?
thanks a lot

it should work just that you have to pay attention to the redline reading

so if mine for example used to go to 180km/h and the new one goes to 190km/h if i install it although the engine is smaller would it still go to 190 and making damage to engine or it will stop to 180?
the km/h are just an example.

Well I am not sure what is your top speed, but what I am trying to say is everything will stay the same
i.e. If your redline was 6800rpm, your car's redline will still be the same(6800rpm) even tho the new cluster may redline at 8000rpm or so. same thing with the speedo
