91 crx oil pressure gauge question (removal)
Hey everyone just had a question about this oil pressure gauge that is in my car. It came like this when i bought it but its just leaking and it is getting annoying and wanted to know what to do to remove it so my interior isnt oily..
i would like to know what all needs to be done like untap the block or somethin to just plug up where it was tapped to be normal again and if i were to need diff parts (like OEM again if it has a diff one on it) or whatever i need but thanks and any links or pics would help too.

Most of these guages have a White nylon line.
You must follow this line into the back of the block. I dont know where your guage is picking up oil from But I will assume that it is T'd off at the oil switch. Remove the T and just thread in your factory Pressure switch.
Also, an Oil pressure guage is a great thing to have.
Why not attempt to fix it?
Post pics of the guage mainly the back of it so we can see where it is leaking.

i might be able to put pics up but im not sure if i could take the gauge pod off and put it back on.. uh ill look at it a little closer
Is it an autometer guage? Either way most of them have the same Brass fitting in the back. The replament line and fittings are available in Autozone's Rice-a-roni Guage section.
ok well i looked at the back of the gauge where the line meets it with the brass nut and to me it looks like thats where its leaking bu tim not sure how to take off the gauge pod without breaking something and im not sure if it will actually go back on. what to do from there.. maybe a new bolt? or what haha sorry but thanks so much you are a lot of help man..
