Sorry i posted the other one in the wrong place.lol MY BAD!!
Now i just figured this out the hardway... I bought a p28 ecu with the s300 allready installed for a SUPER good deal..thats why i bought it. Now i know that a p28ecu doesnt read a knock sensor. This is going on a b20b with b16 head turboed car. DAILY DRIVER!! THats my problem, summer/winter/summer/winter. I want to get rid of knock... So im willing to send my ecu of and have it assymbled in a p72 ecu. Does anyone know if i have to use a OEM knock sensor...or do they make a better one that reads alittle better?? faster??

why would you want to swap the s300 into a p72. p28's already got teh zif on it and everything.
edit: knock sensor is knock sensor. its just a crystall inside the housing. tighten it more and it should be more responsive.
