Default springs dont sit snug on the hat...

we installed tokico iluminas (kit with springs and adj shocks) on my 4g last weekend, and the right side installed fine but the left side looks like it wasnt made for the car. the spring especially on the front left does not butt up again the lip on the hat of the shock where it sets...there is about an inch gap. i was hoping that this would resove itself after driving, but not yet. there is a very slight difference in drop from the other side too, maybe a 1/4" inch so it isnt noticeable. anyone else had these problems or have any ideas??

If you are talking about the spring not fitting inside the rubber strut mount piece, then I can help. I just install my agx's with H&R sports and the same thing happen. It seems like the springs were too big for the rubber piece. Oddly enough it was only the front, because it was design differently. You have to squeeze it in and not let it rest on the lip of the rubber piece. I used a small flat tip screwdriver to pry it in there. Hope that helps.
