How to check 'check engine' light, no plug under dash! HELP!
My 1993 honda civic ex is throwing a check engine light but I'm missing the plug that u jump to count the flashing light, the plug is just gone. Is there any other way to check the check engine light?
The light doesn't come on right away, after 10-30 minutes of driving it will come on. It started after i drove 110mph for a few minutes then it kicked on.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well if the plug is missing, are the wires still there? just connect them to get it to flash. Dig around Im sure they are still there somewhere, Noone is gonna strip those 2 wires all the way back to the ecu. If not, Im sure someone can chime in for the plug and pin number for those 2 wires back at the ecu, But we need to know if anything else has been done to the car.
As far as fixing it we need to know what the symptoms are to help

I'll look for the wires, hopefully they are there. The previous owner was pretty dumb though so.

Ok i found the plug and im throwing code 43, fuel supply system (or heated oxygen sensor?). What would cause that?
Also after it did 4 long flashes and 3 short ones, a few seconds later it did one single short one. Is that Code 1, #1 o2 sensor?
There aren't any issues from the codes, car runs and idles fine. So i don't get what's going on.
Thanks ahead of time!

If all that happens is the CEL comes on, [no other issues with car] check and make sure gas cap is on tightly and it is in good shape, we get 2-3 of them a month in our shop, all kinds of cars, that is 2-3 that have CEL and no other problems and all that is wrong is the gas cap is loose or defective.
On my 94LS if I push it hard at high elevations I get a CEL and an O2 sensor code, I just reset the CEL. and have no more issues with it until the next time I head over the mountains to Vancouver, [and push hard]. 94

Cap's tight and everything. It only comes on after what seems like going over like 4k rpms (gets warm) i've driven 10+ miles granny shifting and the light has't come on.
I was reading code 43 could be an over heated o2 sensor which would make sense because the light first came on after driving the car 110mph for like 5 minutes straight (engine got hot). Replace 02 and go from there?
