Hello.. I have a 91 crx si and I was driving along. Everything was ok no sounds or problems at all. I was in 5th gear coming up to traffic so I down shift to second and once im going again I go to put it into third and it wouldn't come out of second. The car is stuck there. I jacked it up and all the shift linkage bushings seem to be in place and the linkage looks ok itself. Clutch cable is fine also.. so if anyone can give me some pointers. Pulling the tranny out is my last resort.

sounds like you probably have a broken 1-2 shift fork in the transmission
