iive looked all over cant find an answer i have a jdm sir2 motor going in to a 96 ex and my mechanic said i would need the manifold and tb from my old engine which was a us b16a2 is this true? i have the tb from the si but no manifold and i dont wanna go and buy a new 1

plz help need answer asap

 

y? the sir isnt a complete swap or something?

 

or does he think for some reason the im and tb attached to the sirII wont work?

 

yea the a2 will work but so will the sir...

 

i was getting a code for map so i figured i would need the tb that comes with the sensor and for the manifold idk y he would ask me for the old manifold

 

im in my last stages of the swap im just fixing all the codes that i have so far i got da map , iacv,vtps, ckf,1607 i kno i got to do da bypass trick for the ckf for the vtps im pretty shure i need a new solenoid and the tb that i just got should fix the map........ im doing the whole odb2 changover and ima run a p2t with it so i want everything to be good for emissions

 

is there any difference between the sir2 manifold and a si manifold??
