Hi,

As the title says I'm trying to find out my obd number.....I'm guessing that the two civics I have,the first has a D16 Z6 will have an OBD1 and the second has a B16 A2 will be an OBD2....

Is there anyway of telling from the label on the side of the ecu as both are out on the floor of each car?

You could tell by the year/make/model of your vehicle.
You can also tell by looking at the plugs on the engine harness etc.

 

VIN ??

 

UK may be different model years, but image shows all 3 types,

obd1 (typically 92-95 civic/integra)
obd2a (96-99 teg, 96-98 civic)
obd2b (00-01 teg, 99-00 civic)
