How long ago was the engine rebuilt and who rebuilt it? Factor that into the cost and see if it worth it. Something is only worth, what you are willing to pay for it.

 

Word. And see if it has the components that make it more reliable(arp rod bolts, vtec oil pump, arp headstuds just to name a few)

 

will he said the block was stock he just had b16 pistons is it worth it i could get arp rod bolts and head stud i also got gsr rod would that be better then ls rods

unless it was built by a reputable engine shop with blue prints and recipts I would stay away

 

yea im not going to get it his asking 600 bucks i already have a ls motor so im just going to build that and ls v it

 

wow! according to http://www.zealautowerks.com/bseries.html gsr rods, gsr head, b16 pistons ls block and ls crank is about 13.7:1 compression. don't really think that would work out too good for you.

 

No deal. someone just threw parts in a motor and put it on the market. That combo wont work out for you.

 

lol sorry guys i got the motor the deal was good the head alone was MINT MINT MINT ill build the block up to par the blocks good but im build it to hold the beating im looking to buy 11:5 C/r piston and some eagle h beam rods
