Default Shortblock teardown / assembly (H22)

I've taken shortblocks apart and put them back together before with no trouble. Albeit it's time consuming, but its not by any means difficult. My question is for completely new bearings, is there a way to DIY install? this is for the main rod bearings, everything else should be as straight forward as I recall. I'm getting ready for a new motor, and figured I would ask before I attempt it myself or pay a shop to do it.

H22A
AEBS sleeves w/ 87mm bore
JE 9:1 pistons in 87mm bore (std)
pauter rods
fresh crank

cliff questions:
-How do I go about installing/replacing the bearings?
-Is it okay to re-use the ARP rod bolts?
-If it can't be DIY, how many hours of labor to get the bearings on would it be and what should i ask the shop/lookout for?

thanks in advance

take oil pan off, oil pickup off, windage tray off, crank girdle off, oil pump off, flywheel off, flywheel cover that's attached to block off, rod bolts off, crankshaft off .... then you get to all bearings .... replace with new bearings, reinstall in reverse. Make sure everything is within spec.

Yeah its pretty straight forward.
nothing to specific to h22 minus the torque specs.

No press, no shotpeen. You are overthinking it.

bringing this back from the dead...

But, besides using plasti-guage, how do you go about measuring the crank, rods and piston rings to make sure they are within spec?

bore gauge and micrometer. with rings its fairly simple, just need a feeler gauge. though i would not reuse rings.

Any chance you can describe those a little? and Yea, no plans in re-using rings.
