GSR Brakes on civic question.
Ok, this is what I heard I need to do while using integra brakes. I will need to use 99-00 Si knuckles, or if I want to have camber trouble I can use the i ntegra knuckles...
I was kinda hoping the calipers would bolt right on...but if they don't the swap will probably cost more then I wanted to spend right now.
So, is that info true??

Just get the trailing arms with everything attached from the Integra (any integra there all the same size) and use your Control arms. EDIT: FOr the back.
Front....get EX brakes and an Integra caliper. Same size disks.
You do want a Master Cylinder and booster from as well as a prop. valve.
Oh and one more thing.....SEARCH

You can use the Integra knuckles without issue. Most of us have our cars lowered, so all it will do is take away some negative camber.
When I installed mine, I installed a skunk2 camber kit (only so I can adjust it to where I want and have it even) at the same time, so I dont know how much camber the integ knuckles will take off a 6Gen civic.
I can only see it being a problem if your car is stock height, in which case it will put your front wheels in postive camber.

Lol...I did a seach spade. I just wanted to confirm the info I had.
I already have installed a 15/16's master cylinder, 4040 prop valve, Si rear discs, and integra parking brake cables.
Tony: I am planning on lowering my car anytime now....maybe I will have to look into those skunk camber correctors.

4G car, front GSR brakes, lowered. front left -1.87, front right -1.9, no camber adjusting done. that is with the teg knuckle and upper control arm. as far as i can see there is no basis to the myth that the teg's knuckles cannot be used on civic platform. of course my car was lowered before i did the brakes. i even think that the teg's upper control arms have more positive caster than the civic ones, although i cannot be sure at this moment as i haven't seen both of them side-by-side in a while (since i did my bushings).

true enough, the lower control arm is different, but honda tends to keep things simple and easy to mass produce. i don't see why the similarities in integra/civic chassis would stop on the 4G.
