i have a weird scratching noise on my passenger side wheel well ive taken off my tire to see if anything was rubbing didnt see anything checked my hub bolt and made sure it was tight enough, also check my axle boots and the look fine no tears it usually only does it in first when i rev my car high

 

check the dust shield since it might be rubbing against the brake rotor...!!!

 

checked that first and have heard that many times in different hondas

 

you may be having a problem with the spring or nuts...check it out...that may have become a bit loose....

 

ya thats a possability ill check that, maybe its my autozone strut ill look further into and make sure everythings tight

 

what about a brake clip? When does the noise pop up?

 

i had my brake caliper popping for a while and the top of it was grinding away finally fixed that

 

how about motor mount?
