Default Good top end, questionable block?

So 98 #368 has had a storied past. Upon rebuilding the head I come to discover that the block has been bored w/ after market pistons with a concerning amount of play or gap with the pistons. I'm guessing it has had some FI done to it in the past. It hasn't blown smoke or anything and is running quite well now after the rebuild, good idle, runs strong. My question is I don't use my R very often but I do drive spiritedly when I do as well as do HPDE and Hillclimbs/road rallies, how long do you think the motor will last before it goes? Wondering if I should start saving for a new motor now?....
