Default Block questions

ok me being somewhat new to hybridizing and stuff
i need to know if the B18C1 and b18C5 blocks are identical.
ie- i plan on building a bottom end and have access to a C5 block to swap into instead of building the C1 bottom end
are they identical if i put a 98 GSR head on the C5 block in terms of deck height, compression, all specs?
Help me out here

Should be the same except for higher compression pistons and maybe different rods?

funny you ask this question. I just put together a ITR block w/GSR head.

C5 block= P73-AO pistons, micropolished crank, stronger rods, oil cooler
C1 block72-AO pistons, etc, etc, etc

GSR head on C5 block gets you 10.8-10.9-ish CR.....everything bolts up perfectly, no drama. If you do this get a Mugen head gasket, increases CR by .4. So you'll be at 11.2-11.3-ish CR. My motor feels strong as hell. I have 72 miles so far on the new block.
