Hi, im tearing down a B20 VTec to get it sleeved, I have Wisco High Comp 12.1 Pistons. Block is B20b head is b16 off 99 Si. fully built! just getting block sleeved, been running all motor but want more power with out turbo! Just NOS for once in a while! i alread have 230 HP. can i safely run a direct port NOS injection on 12.1. some say yes and others say no. NOS says Nitirous loves high comp, im on Premium Pump already and soon to be dual tuned for E85. so whats everyones thoughts.

 

how big of a shot? With the proper tune and gas I dont see why not

 

as long as you have enough octane your fine and make sure you retard your timing and you should look into some colder plugs i just went to a 150 shot with my 14:1 compression in my b16 but im running 110 cam2

 

Nitrous loves high compression. Whoever told you that would be an issue doesn't know what they are talking about.

Just tune correctly.

 

ok sweet, its not my first go around with nitrous for sure, but ive always ran it on a low compression build. I built this B20 out of curiosity, now id liek to see it go further. thanks for the help, anyother advice would be great too
