B16b with type-r crank need help......

Default B16b with type-r crank need help......

so the b16b is basically a b18c5 destriked right? ok I go a b16b so if i put in a type r crank and use type r rods its gonna be a 1.8 ? lets just say i did all that then i bore my **** out to 84mm, would it be a 2.0 or i cant do that? cuz if i can i wanna add custom wiesco pistons to it too

Yes, it will be a 2.0L But, you will have to have the block resleeved. In other words you should ahve started with a B18C1 or a B16A and not wasted the money on a B16B.

Actually, an 84mm bore is about 1933cc's

nah its cuz i got the b16b bllock from a friend for 3 bills. He went b20 vtec . hey would it by any chance have as much torque as the b20 vtec? thanks guys for ur info
