So i had a mesh filter on my turbo and i decided to make a intake from autozone for the turbo. i test drove it after wards and to make it short my turbo sucked up a piece of piping. its the flex plastic one, theres no shaft play and it spins and everything, no smoke so im sure its not blown? but there was some minor fin damage. now the car wont boost past 0psi
i took it to a local shop and we did a test. there was a hole a size of apple in the intercooler. Is this why i cant boost?

 

If you have a big hole in intercooler that would be my guess

 

Well if you have an apple sized hole in the intercooler, I would recommend buying a new one lol

 

yea that would be the reason... the other day i had my charge pipe come off and it wouldnt build any boost what so ever. i put it back on and it spooled right up. get a new one and it should build right back up no problem

 

of course...the forced air your turbo is making is escaping from the hole, not forcing it back into the intake charge....purchase a new intercooler
