Default Fuel Pressure

My fuel Pressure drops to 0 after about an hour with the car off not running. Is this normal? I have just installed a Gauge on my Filter and a B&M Fuel Pressure Modifier. Also What Pressure should i be running. I have stock injectors a 4-2-1 Header ,STR fuel rail and intake. Engine is a D16Z6 With P28 ECU. Any help whould be great thanks

Mine does that too, it's frigging annoying. I think it's the gauge on the filter that's probably loose; I installed a new filter recently + tightened and now it's less prone to doing that.

i lose fuel pressure on my b16 too, no regulator or gauge but it makes starting the car a 5-6 crank thing as it needs to suck the fuel in, sounds unhealthy, kinda embarrasing sometimes. So it should maintain fuel pressure at all times?

the pressure will aventually drop after time but 30-40 back to 0 in an hour, seems kinda fast. As for you cranking it 5 or 6 times to get it runing, how about you turn the key on "on" and sit their for about 3 seconds while the fuel pump pressurizes everything up, then start the car

Tthats is normal. it does that cuz the fuel drop when the motor is cold. it will go back up when u crank to ignition or start the engine.

Stock fuel pressure for a Z6 is 44- 47 PSI at idle. Your bolt ons aren't enough to require more pressure.
