Default JDM EG civic interior conversion/swap question

Ive just completed an interior swap on an EG civic but there seems to be a gap everytime I fold the back seats flat. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

You can see it here

Thanks in advance

I'm sure you know this, but the USDM hatch didn't come with the mounting points for those seats. Did you get all of the mounting hardware with the conversion? I know you have to knock out your stock seat mount in the center and fab something that will work with the JDM seats. Should be some kind of long bar that mounts to where the seats join and this is somehow mounted to the frame.

I didnt know that until I started fitting the interior I assumed the chassis would be identical but wasnt going to let that stop me.

Sorry I should of mentioned before, I took out these with a grinder

And added this

But still the gap remains

Ive never seen one of these swaps in person before, but it kinda looks like a bent or loose hinge to me.

It looks like the one on the passenger side (this is a UKDM car, right?...sorry about the mixup...I assumed USDM in my first post) looks like it's lined up right but the driver's side is off. If the mounts you fabbed match up with the seat, I'd agree with Gunmetal...you might have a bent mounting points in the seat itself. As a result, the driver's side mount may be in the wrong spot. If you look closely, there should be indentations where the JDM mounts would go. I found them on mine when I had my rear seat out. Do your mounts use these points?

I also haven't seen one of these conversions in person, but have been tempted several times. I just want to be sure I have all of the pieces before I go down that path.

pass rear seat,, loosen the bolts that hold down the seat and adjust the seat closer in the middle and straighten it out.

Thanks for the replies guys, I shall loosen the bolts readjust then tighten. There doesnt seem to be enough of a thread tapped where I drilled the holes to fix the seats in. I shall get under the car and put some nuts on them, maybe weld it so it is captive. Did the original fixings have captive nuts? At the moment the bolts are done tight but a few miles on the car and im sure they'd work their way out.

Yes the car is UKDM, I assumed all chassis were the same originally so I guess you learn something new everyday.

I'll let you know how I get on with fixing the gap
