BLOX coils vs. Function Forms 1....which??
Im looking to come up on some entry level coilovers for my Em1...Oppinions on each and maybe some pictures?? thanks! BTW they are the tuner series and comp series for the BLOX...and Type 1 for the FF
are they both adjustable...I also read the "you dont need camber kits" thread, so im guessing and leaning towards not getting them, but do get..is a "toe adjustment" or new toe?? is that right
Yes F&F and Blox are adjustable. You can adjust height separate from preload so you dont have to worry about blowing the struts. However since they are cheap you probably will anyway. No you dont need camber kits, just get an alignment and set toe to zero.
well u dont "need" camber kits, but it will be a good idea to get them. ur tires will still wear unevenly due to the excessive negative camber. setting the toe will only do so much
not really, well at least to a degree. up to -3deg i've seen very minimal camber wear, it's like 1/64th of difference. the inside scrub is always toe out, not camber.
I have some blox tuner series on my ek. blox is better than F&F. my friend has some type 1's on his eg and its crap. bumpy as hell (not sure if its because hes slammed all the way) but i personally dont like his ride. the spring rate is 10k/6k. my tuner series are 10k/8k which is obviously better. competition series is 12k/10k i believe. competitions ride a little smoother and better than tuners, but thats only if youre willing to throw in more cash.
in a couple years, after i finish with my tuners im gonna invest in some competitions or drag series :] im sticking with blox for a long time.
hope this helped.

really, dont worry about camber unless you are a "dumpstar"
i have -2.5 camber all around and no wear with toe nearest to zero they could get
8/32nds on the inside, middle and outside of the tires, only good way of measuring camber wear is with a proper tire tread depth gauge
