Default tranny help

Will a JDM d15b block work properly with an L3(as printed on the tranny) tranny or an SL3 4 speed tranny? because recently either my tranny went out or my clutch is shot. But i just barley put that clutch and tranny in(the L3)(4 Speed came with the car when i bought it). Could i of bought the wrong clutch? or tranny? It was working fine then slowly kinda started to feel like i was loosing power somewhere then one night i was driving and all of a sudden a weird noise came from my car and then it wouldnt go anywhere, engine still running, but the car wouldnt move or bug at all. Then after that i would push the clutch in and try to get it in gear and it felt like it was in gear but when i let out the clutch or even pushed it back in you could hear a sharp grinding noise then a consistant small grinding noise from the tranny housing. I need some info on what ppl think asap. Thanks

Thats what i was thinking too. If i didnt resurface the pressure plate before putting the new Stage 2 clutch in could that of messed things up? Its been around 3-4ooo miles since i put it in.
