THIEVES SUCK ***!!
well, my exhaust was stolen off my car this past week. It was a Skunk2 invidia exhaust. So now I am on the search for another. What do you think about the Type One for my car ('97 integra with jdm H22)? any other suggestions? And is the below the only thing I will need (I still have my piping on my car)?
if anyone knows anyone near Macon, GA that just got a "new" invidia exhaust on their car...PLEASE LET ME KNOW! This exhaust is discontinued, so it is very likely that it came off my car! thanx.

they stole just the exhaust??
damn... and to think they had to crawl all the way under the car to get the front bolts.... that takes time and a jack...

I had my car at a shop, and they stole it when there was no engine in the car. I took everything else out and off the car when I dropped it off (seats, wheels, wing, even the damn strut bar), but I just totally forgot about the exhaust
So it wasnt even connected to the motor.
haha thats what I was thinking.. thats a lot of effort to steal just the axle back portion of the exhaust.. maybe they sawed it off or something, either way that a lot of effort and it looks pretty obvious to anyone else around what your doing... thieves

Dont feel all that bad man . .your not the only one .... someone tried to steal my boys Greddy Evo off his eclipse .... ******* cut the boots but didnt unbolt the piping
so since they didnt get it ... they put a big kick dent on the rear quarter panel
look around for kakimoto R, much higher quality and from the looks made better

hey man was it a B'ch to do that H22 swap and did you have to get special AC lines ? what axles did you use
hmmm cause catback new is $500 ? kind of limited to who you could sell it to though .... unless there just keeping the muffler ... my boy that almost got his stolen ... said another guy in the complex got his stereo system stolen the same night ... sooo i guess some thugs went on a rampage, one evening, at those apartments
not real smart theivez to be honest
to make things worse ... my same boy in that eclipse .... someone that lives in the complex side swiped it pulling out one night .... he found the car that did it ... the guy is still coming back to the complex to hang out with his boy i guess..... said even still had some of his paint on it .... cop said cant really do anything after the fact ...cept question and try to trick him into admitting it ...
so my boy now has a dented and scraped ... fender .. door and rear quarter .. but on the bright side .... its all on the same side of the car

me too ... my boy liked my exhaust note so much he bought the evo for his eclipse
nothing really you can do cept maybe bolt the catback pipes together with special star'd nutz/boltz .... but really it shouldnt be much of and issue if your dropped and have an alarm ... theyed have to jack ur **** up to get to the bolts anyway and that should sound your alarm ...
you know alpine has an alarm ..with an LCD remote.. that pages and has a radius silent alarm ... will notify your remote if someone is even just standing next to your car for a preset amount of time
I know how you feel... last month.. my wheels was stolen right in front of my drive way.. i woke up look out side and my car was on four brinks.........
Uhhhhh...When I installed my exhaust, I didn't have to jack up the car. Just laid on my back and reached under. I'm a skinny guy, but it is possible.

you must not have your teg dropped .... the ground clearance i have is not even tall enough for me to get my head under i guess you might be able to reach with long arms .... but the "accessable" spot even with a drop is right after the cat ... and that is a 3 point flange with one of the bolt/nut on top ... would need several extentions and some swivle joints for to even remotely be possible ... lot of trouble just for some exhaust
this just came to mind ...
you could maybe chain lock one of the exhaust's welded hangers to the underbody ... like a small one for a bike ... 1 that has the rubber coating so it wouldnt rattle ... just a thought (;
dude... someone stole your exhaust? what the hell kind of shiet is that. people must be gettin desperate these days.
my cars lowered about 2" (Eibach sportline w/ Koni yellows) so I think they'd have trouble accessing/getting under the car to steal my exhaust... plus I have proximity, tilt and impact sensors and my alarm will page me.. so I can come out quietly and lower the jack and drop the car on them
thats so fucked up...same thing happened my brother a few years back, he had his 5zigen exhasut stolen of his crx, they just took the axle back part, didnt need to jack the car as you can reach in and get at the two bolts quiet and easy.
damn thats so ghetto.. unless the whole car gets stolen and the exhaust system is taken in the process... I never even thought I'd have to worry about my exhaust getting stolen
glad I live in a nice area and have my car garaged

sorry guys, but I need to clarify! My car was not lowered (stock height) when I changed my exhaust without a jack. And actually, I just unbolted from header back. I guess that makes a big difference!
