just replaced my main bearings and rod bearings now engine wont move
Any reason why my engine wont move after i replaced the main and rod bearings? Im pretty sure it has something to do with my rod bearings, but i torqued them all to spec, and in the correct steps.
Won't move, as in you're trying to manually turn the engine over and you can't? How much pressure are you putting down if so, you won't be able to turn the engine over without a small amount of force.
plastiguage?
double check for correct bearing size?
rotated the crank after installing the fresh bearings?
and rotation after each rod install?
is it locked in place no movement? or turns a certain amount before stopping?
(this is assuming its not in the car yet wit ha no start condition)

i did not plasitgauge. I was trying to just slap the motor back together. I wasnt expecting longevity. I used generic part store bearings. Ive given up on this motor, im just gonna put some POS motor in it. I just need something with good gas mileage
