Default Skunk2 Camber Kit - Ball Joint Information

I was looking into buying a set of these for my car [99 Cx hatch], however, I wanted to know about the ball joints.....specifically, if/when I needed to replace them, how could I.

After getting off the phone with Skunk2, I have this information for you guys:

1). The ball joints used are held in by a C-clip, so they are replaceable.
2). Skunk2 does NOT currently have any of these ball joints in stock and do NOT know when they are going to get some.
3). They do NOT know of an aftermarket replacement, as of yet, and do not know when they will find one.

What does this mean? If you own a set, and need to replace the ball joint, your S.O.L. for the time being. The tech didn't even have a rough guesstimate as to when a replacement would be found.

Note: The lower ball joint from a Honda will NOT work, according to the tech

This makes perfect sense, since Skunk2 doesn't even manufacture them, except for applying a few coats of "Bolt Skip Red" paint.

I would call Vision to see what ball joints they used, since they are the ones that make these.

How so do you figure? Have you looked at them before?

Tonyxcom what is Vision's contact info, I'll call them up but I cannot find any contact information.

Vision is in Japan.

The first gen skunk2 arms for EG/DC were sold just like Vision sells them. Then the newer generation arms and those for EK's are just painted red.

You should be able to find some info on Vision in a Option mag or similar.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Um...no, they are not stock arms. Have you looked at them? When I had them installed the tech at the Honda dealer said he was quite impressed at how sturdy they were and how well built they were.
