Default G-Tech results and questions....please read!

Check out my signature. Are my G-Tech results believable? How accurate are these things? I just thought I'd ask before I believed it 100%. Someone let me know!

did you use it properly? the correct steps to follow to ensure an accurate reading from a G-Tech are as follows:

1. place g-tech firmly in right hand.
2. open driver side window while at cruise speed.
3. toss g-tech out window.

the mph is always going to be off on g-tech. rather than giving an average of your speed in the last X feet(i forget the number) it just gives you your speed at the end.
if you can find a very flat road the time is gonna be relatively accurate, give or take about .2 or more.

dunno, some people sware by it, and some people want to smash them all with a hammer.

I did the same a few years back.. The G-Tech was 0.05 seconds off...
Five Hundreds of a Second.. .. It can be accurate if you're on a perfectly level road..

Gtech doesnt avg. the mph for the end of the 1/4 like the track does so the mph is always about 4mph over the track. it usually does pretty good timing the ET but its can only be used as a guesstimate.

The road I was on was pretty flat, so I guess that means that this is a just a pretty good idea of what she's capable of. I'm happy, though...considering my friend's '02 Mustang GT didn't fair nearly as well on the same road. I think his 0-60 was like 6.45 or something. Either way, its pretty good for a 1.8 liter 4 banger! Thanks for your imput!
